Students and Teachers Can Apply for FEMA Assistance
Students and teachers whose homes and personal property were damaged by Tropical Storm Arthur that occurred June 17-24, can apply for FEMA disaster assistance. FEMA may be able to help eligible individuals and families in Avoyelles, Lafourche, Pointe Coupee, St. Landry, St. Tammany and Terrebonneparishes replace items needed for back to school, including computers, textbooks and school supplies.
