LACG answers for area codes 318 and 337. We are also each other’s back up centers. If you are routed out of state you can request to be routed to your Louisiana center

988 is the new 3-digit dialing code for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (formerly 1-800-273-TALK). When you dial or text 988 you will reach a live specialist who is there to provide you with emotional support for whatever it is you are going through. VIA LINK practices strict emergency room diversion policies. We are here to provide a safe space to talk about what you are going through, to cope, and to keep safe.   • VIA LINK/PCAL is a part of the Louisiana 211 system. You are routed to your local 2-1-1 center based upon your zip code.
  • 2-1-1 in an information and referral line for health and human services
  • 2-1-1 is also activated in disaster to provide the most up to date information
  • You can text 2-1-1 by texting your zipcode to 898-211 and will reach a live resource specialist
