Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana Program has a mission of providing 24/7 emotional support for families, connection to parenting resources, advocacy for children and families, and education for those who care for Louisiana’s children.

Helping Parents Navigate Life’s Challenges

VIA LINK offers Louisiana Parent Line, which provides parents with free, confidential, 24/7 access to a live specialist. Louisiana Parent Line can be reached through phone and text 24 hours a day. We give parents a safe space to express their frustrations, ask parenting questions and get support. Louisiana Parent Line specialists can offer emotional support, de-escalation, crisis intervention, information & referral, and plans for coping. Follow up calls can also be offered to parents to increase their circle of support.

**All Specialists on LA Parentline are Mandated Reporters through LA DCFS.**

When life seems hopeless or out of control, PCAL is here to listen and help.

We are Here for You.

Our 24/7 phone and text lines are a safe space for anyone who is going through a hard time, having thoughts about suicide, or just needs to talk.
